A Vision for My Nation -- The United States of America

I quiet myself. I fix my eyes on Jesus. I tune to flow. I ask: “What is it You want to speak to me about the [2012 US Presidential] election, Lord?”

I see a giant map of the United States before me. I am watching. I look. I ask: “Show me what You are doing, Lord. I want to agree with You.”

Above the map, I see a huge, long banner floating gently in the breeze. It is a long, thin banner. It is tapered at one end. It reaches coast to coast.

As I am watching, my Lord speaks: “My banner over you is love.”

I am comforted by this. I receive His comfort into My spirit. I breath a sigh of relief. I respond: “Thank you, Lord, that Your banner over us is love. Thank you, Lord that you love our nation.”

I continue to watch the banner and allow His truth to minister to me. As I watch, the banner changes shape and before my eyes it becomes a silhouette of the Statue of Liberty. It is still gracefully floating on the wind, hovering above the map of my nation, but it remains in the shape of the Statue of Liberty. [The Statue of Liberty is a symbol of American freedom that was erected in New York harbor in 1885].

“What is it You want to speak to me about the Statue of Liberty, Lord?”

My Lord speaks: “It is My freedom that will set [your nation] free.”

My spirit resonates with His words. As He speaks, He drops an understanding in my spirit and “a knowing” in my heart that our nation and our culture is in bondage to false freedom and false liberty.

My Lord speaks: “It is only MY freedom that will set [your nation] free from false freedom.”

I agree with His words of truth: “Yes, Lord. Only Your truth will set us free.” 

“I am the answer. I am the way. I am the truth. I am the light.”

As I am watching, the banner unfolds and it is now floating gracefully over the nation again, reaching from coast to coast. As I look, I notice the borders of our nation are hemmed in on every side by another banner. This other banner is wrapped around the borders of the Continental US like a ribbon. On the ribbon hemming in the west coast, I see the word “FAITHFUL” written on the banner. On the ribbon hemming in the the east coast, I see the word “TRUE”.

I agree with what He shows me: “Yes, Lord. You, and you alone, are faithful. You, and you alone, are true. You are Lord of this nation from coast to coast. Your banner over us is love. It is Your freedom that will set us free.”

My Lord speaks: “I am waking up the Body of Christ. I am calling forth My Body. I am calling out to wake up My Body. Rise up. Wake up. I do not want My Body to be lukewarm. Rise up. Do not compromise. You are too comfortable with the way things are.”

I tune to flow. I look to Jesus. I see Jesus on a white horse. He is holding the banner of His love, which is still gracefully floating above the map of the US. He is galloping on His white horse, carrying His banner of love. He is riding across the nation. He is headed east (from California). He is riding toward Washington, D.C. As He rides, a wave rises up behind Him from the Pacific. A tidal wave is rising up behind Him.

My Lord speaks: “I am coming like a flood. Nothing can stop My outpouring. Nothing can stand against My power and My love. My outpouring will wake up My Body.”

As I watch, He shows me what He is doing in the spirit.

My Lord speaks as I watch Him gallop across the map of the US on His white stallion: “I am waking up My Body. It is time to rise up. Slumber no more.”

Jesus gets to Cincinnati [Ohio], and He drives the stake of His banner deeply into the ground in Cincinnati. He gets back on His horse and continues to gallop to Washington, D.C.

“What are you showing me about Cincinnati, Lord?” [Note: I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.]

As I ask this question, I am reminded of Cincinnati's important historical role with respect to the Underground Railroad. The Underground Railroad was a secretive network of people who assisted fugitive slaves escaping slavery in southern US states in the 1800s. Fugitive slaves made it to freedom when they crossed the Ohio River from the state of Kentucky into Cincinnati, Ohio. The National Underground Freedom Center, a museum on the Cincinnati side of the Ohio River, opened 8 years ago to memorialize Cincinnati's important historical role in the abolitionist movement.

My Lord speaks: “It is My freedom that will set [the United States] free.”

I am reminded that all eyes were on Cincinnati as the election results were coming in. [Obama's narrow win in Cincinnati swung the state of Ohio, contributing to Obama's win.] “What else do you want to speak to me about Cincinnati, Lord?”

My Lord speaks: “I am coming like a flood.”

As I am looking at the map, the tidal wave that I saw rising up behind Him from the Pacific coast crashes on Cincinnati. Cincinnati and the surrounding cities within a 200 mile radius are dripping wet.

My Lord speaks: “I am pouring out My Spirit on Cincinnati. My outpouring is coming. Nothing can stand against My power and My love.”

I see a spring begin to flow in Cincinnati where Jesus drove the stake of His banner of love into the ground. The trickle grows and grows and grows.

My Lord speaks: “Rise up. Flow like a river.”

Before my eyes, the trickle becomes a geyser on the map. The geyser shoots miles high into the atmosphere.

“Nothing can stand against My power and My love.”A strong wind comes and carries the water shooting from the geyser north. All of Ohio is affected by the geyser as the wind blows north and east.

I look for Jesus. He is galloping on his white stallion. He is in Washington, D.C. He stops in front of the White House. He has a scepter in His right hand. He touches the White House with it. He makes His way to the Capitol Building. He touches the Capitol Building with His scepter. He gallops to the United States Supreme Court Building. He touches it with His scepter.

He speaks as He touches these buildings with His scepter: “I am sending My outpouring. Nothing can stand against My power and My love. My freedom will set [your nation] free. Place your hope and trust in Me. I am stirring and waking My Body. I am saying, 'Rise up.' I am saying to My Body, 'It is time to fight for My freedoms. Do not compromise. Do not look to government for your answers. I am the answer. Place the government of your nation on My shoulders. Lean not on your own understanding.' Tell My people it is time to rise up and co-labor with Me. It is time to get out of their comfort zone and fight for My freedoms and My truth. You cannot count on elected officials to do this for you while you sit back and do nothing. Rise up. I am telling you to rise up and fight in the spirit for My freedoms and My truths to rule and reign in your land. It is My freedom that will set you free.”

I see a tidal wave coming from the Atlantic [the east coast]. It is headed toward New York. It is gaining speed and momentum. The tidal wave is growing and growing and growing. It crashes on the Statue of Liberty and New York City. The Statue of Liberty collapses under the weight of the wave.

“It is My freedom that will set you free from the false freedoms to which your nation is in bondage.” 

Note to Reader: Prophetic intercession is agreeing with what Jesus is doing. I invite you to intercede with me prophetically by agreeing with what the Lord is doing in the Spirit. He is waking up His Body to fight in the Spirit for the United States – that the US would be set free from false freedoms. It is an outpouring of His power and His love that will set us free. Let us prophetically welcome and call forth this outpouring. Let us prophetically declare that His freedoms and His truths will rule and reign in the United State. Let us pray that the One True God would visit President Obama in dreams and visions of His great love, His truth, His freedom. Let us pray that only God's goodness, grace and mercy would follow President Obama and His family. May President Obama seek out and receive Godly counsel and wisdom. May all those in governmental positions of authority in the United States experience life-changing encounters with the One True God. May they seek the Lord's face as they make decisions for our nation that will affect this and all future generations. May the Lord be glorified in our nation. May the US be set free from our bondage to false freedoms by His truth. He is the way, the truth and the life. Thank you, Lord, that your banner over us is love. He is faithful and true. He is at work. He is sending an outpouring. Prepare us to receive your outpouring, Lord. Make way. He is coming. Rise up and slumber no more.
