5-2-12 Holy Lord Jesus, a Christian speaker recently said that we are to dream big. At this point in my walk with You, my “dream” is to continue to hear Your voice and act in obedience to what You say. Lord, what do you desire?
Ben, this is the desire for all of My people! I want My people to come to Me for everything and to come to Me first. When it is done this way, it does not produce religious “stuff”. It produces that which I desire! When My people come to Me first, we are able to bring glory to My Father and yours! Seek My face! Seek Me so that I can bless you and fulfill the desires of your heart and Mine!
For years our Lord has used the words “stuff” or “fluff” interchangeably describing religious activities. He has provided definitions of these words to me: Following is one of them that I received in 2008.
Ben, fluff is everything that goes beyond a basic love relationship. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your mind, and all your soul. Love one another as I have loved you. Out of these love relationships, I am then enabled to bring about that which I desire. Yes, I do want My people healed and set free. These actions are all included in the love package. All else is fluff!

It looks so far fetched

Hello Pastor, Your journalling inspires me so much and wish i keep it at heart everyday. You make journalling with God seem so easy. Often I have tried to keep up the pace to knowing God fully and complete. It has often seemed so far fetched and unreaching to completely obey God's commands and Keep up in the faith. Even the gist i enjoy is often taken away from me, just as Christ parable about the sower said. How do i enjoy God your way with all these revelations. I can use you as example, God just revealed something about your family you were not aware of. And it keeps coming. It just never stops. I want to be free. Solomon

Solomon,
Thank you for your words of encouragement! Journaling with our Lord does come easier and easier as we continue to spend time in His wonderful presence. He reveals more and more to us of His heart, His desires, as we spend time with Him. There is so much to know about our great God! As believers, we have the rest of eternity to pursue Him, to know Him. Meanwhile, while we are here on planet earth, He want us to diligently seek His face, enjoy His company, receive His healing love, and learn more and more about Him. Know that He loves you dearly, that you are very special to Him!
Many blessings to you,
Ben

Ben,
I really look forward to reading what you write from your 2 way journaling. When I get stuck in my own journaling (I am a beginner), I read yours and get excited and encouraged again. I think I try too hard. Should I just "be" and not try? Would this help me to hear Him more easily?

Susan,
Thank you for your encouraging words! It looks like you have the answer to your question. Trying too hard can be very frustrating. Instead, just concentrate upon Jesus, thank Him and bless Him, and let the thoughts from Him flow. Remember, He loves you dearly and wants to communicate with you as you spend time with Him.
Blessings to you as you experience more and more of God's love!
Ben
