Do you prefer the company of those who agree with you? Is it easy and comforting to be reassured that you are right because you can find people who hold the same opinions? How do you respond to those who are not of your group? Do you have a basis for connection with those you disagree with? This is more difficult but it is worth the effort because it can enlarge your circle of life. Can you start with the fact that everyone is made in my image? Do you see this as a sufficient basis to see everyone else as your brother or sister? You could refer to this as the solidarity of all humanity, or you could call it loving your enemies.
