Jesus, how do You define the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
Ben, it is good that you wrote "the Gospel of Jesus Christ". Sadly, there are other gospels
out there, even in My church. My gospel is the gospel of grace, and not the gospel of law.
As you are learning, too many of My children find themselves going back under the law
in order to prove their worth to Me or to their "church". My gospel is the message of grace
and grace alone! My gospel includes freedom, being set free from bondages. My gospel
means peace and healing and love and deliverance. My gospel is the message of love in
action! Oh that My people would look beyond their religious training to see Me as I really am! I want to set My people free to worship Me in Spirit and in truth! Proceeding under the gospel of grace leads them in My direction!
Lord, how do we proceed under the gospel of grace?
Ben, it is done by spending time with Me. It is accomplished by seeing Scriptures through the eyes of grace rather than through the law. Ask My Holy Spirit to reveal to you the truth about My Scriptures as you set aside your preconceived ideas about My grace, My love, My everything! Know that grace abounds! Know that great freedom exists under the gospel of grace! I have come to set My people free! Oh that they would realize that truth!
My note: Joseph Prince, senior pastor of New Creation Church, in Singapore, has a membership in excess of 20,000 people. He has done an excellent job of separating grace from law in his best selling book Destined To Reign.

Interesting thought about Joseph Prince. Have you read his viewpoint that once saved there is no longer a need to confess your sins or repent? I would be careful with his definition of grace. We have a deep need for continual sanctification whereby the Holy Spirit will continue to reveal areas of our life needing repentance and turning away from the sin toward God's ways as brought forth in His Word.

Repentance and Joseph Prince

Hi,
I thought a little clarification might be helpful about Pastor Prince. I am very familiar with his teachings. His view is that there is a difference between repentance and confession. Repentance means to turn around and he would support that. We are to turn from whatever is not consistent with God's word and press into God. “Confession,” defined as the need to say you are sorry for sin AND that the lack of saying you are sorry breaks your relationship with the Father is what he believes is not true. Because of the cross, all sin, past present and future are covered by His sacrifice and therefore we don't need to worry about our relationship with the Father being affected. The cross allows us access to God, not our performance (confession of sin in this case). Repentance is turning our heart and actions toward God. Hope this helps.

being under Grace

so then Ben... what of the words spoke about HYPER-Grace.. I think this is directed toward Joseph prince.
Hyper-grace is not God's grace where all sin is accepted and we are ok no matter what . We are not under the law but under Grace, however those who are teaching this Grace is not teaching that We are to change our wicked ways and follow him (Jesus) .. Correct?
These are questions not disagreement?
