James 2:12: Talk and act as people who are going to be judged by laws that bring freedom.
Lord, I was nudged to bring up this verse. What will You share with me on this?
Ben, much is misunderstood about the law. Remember, I fulfilled the law. I did not do away with it! Too many hide behind what I did (fulfill the law) as an excuse to live as they desire and still feel secure in their walk with Me. As My people draw closer to Me, they are enabled to walk in freedom while meeting all of the requirements of the law. As they draw close to Me, they have no desire to do those things that violate the law.
Jesus, what about the judging part?
Ben, as you read in Lloyd's (Lloyd Phillips, Director, Flint Net) paper (www.theoakinitiative.org/oak-leaf-27 ), My people will be judging in times to come. In the meantime, they need to judge properly how they walk before Me and others. I am looking for righteous judgment - not religious judgment. As you know and have experienced, there is a great difference. Righteous judgment brings freedom. Religious judgment brings bondage and shame.
