I am here, Lord. Show me where You are, Jesus. I watch and listen for You.
We are on the beach. His robes are blowing gently in the breeze. He is watching the ocean. I am next to Him, looking at Him. He looks at me and smiles. He takes my hand. We start to dance. Jesus is leading. It’s a fast ballroom type dance, almost like a jitterbug. We laugh. Then He starts waltzing with me. It’s slow, graceful and soft. I am caught up in His beauty, grace and love. Then He flips me up on His shoulders. I pull His glory cloud out of Him and extend my right hand toward it. My hand and arm start turning colors. The colors are alive and moving. They dance. I feel the colors pour down over me and cover me. But they are actually in me, yet I can see them. I look into Jesus’ smiling face, at the center of His glory cloud. The cloud is moving with wind and colors. The colors are in Jesus. They dance and move gently and beautifully.
I ask: “What do the colors mean, Lord?”
My Lord speaks: “My love paints. My glory creates. I am an artist. Everything you see in creation, and delight in and marvel at, I created with My glory and because of My love. My glory and My love are alive and at work. I am a Master Artist. I do not make mistakes. Untrained eyes may look at a work I am doing and think it’s a mistake or beyond repair. But I create My most beautiful works that hold the most value out of what others would throw away, discard and give up on. Never give up. Never throw away. Never discard My canvas, My works of art. It may not be your style of painting, you may prefer impressionistic over contemporary, or a waltz over the jitterbug, but when I am the artist, My finished work is alive with My glory, and it speaks of Me and My love.”
I start gracefully moving my arm and dancing with it, as I do in worship, and the colors follow my hand. I am pulling out of His glory cloud and painting with my movements in the sky.
My Lord speaks: “Pull out My glory and paint with My words. Use My words that I speak to you to paint pictures of My glory and truth. My glory is the palette. Speak what I am speaking. Write what I am speaking. Paint pictures of My glory and love, with My glory and love.”
