Do you notice that people are becoming more interested and concerned about the nature of their food and where it comes from? I addressed this question long ago in the context of dietary laws, and in the eating of meat sacrificed to idols.
I taught that it was not what goes into a man that defiles him, but what comes out of him. Spiritual nourishment is more important than physical nourishment, and you can change your menu to avoid causing your brother to stumble. Purity and wholesomeness are valid concerns in every area of your life including food, but it is important to keep your perspective and priorities in order.
