Is it possible to be a believer and an unbeliever at the same time? You distinguish between those who follow me and those who do not by calling them believers and unbelievers. Yet I was speaking to my own disciples when I marveled at their unbelief.The act of salvation occurs through a conscious decision to believe and trust in me, yet it can take a lifetime to enter into the fullness and reality of all that implies. You are immersed in a culture and even a church that demands proof before action, but even the secular world belongs to those who act in faith and hope. How much more should my children be willing to believe and obey before they see.
