Is righteousness a default condition? All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Yet when you meet people, should you assume to worst about them? Shouldn’t you give them the benefit of the doubt, and assume that they are upright and righteous until proven otherwise?To the pure all things are pure, and this is a more righteous position for you to take than to become a judge of evil intentions. Since you cannot know the thoughts and intentions of others you should not judge them. This means that you may not know when you encounter those who truly are evil. Yet if you trust in me I will keep you safe from dangers you are unaware of.
