Have you raised your children in the faith, only to have them wander away from it when they were old enough to choose for themselves? This is one of the most distressing things that can befall you. Yet you have my promise that if you raise up a child in the way he should go, that when he is old he will not depart from it. This promise does not say that they will never wander. They may forget who they belong to, but they are mine and I will not forget my own. Their righteous upbringing and my love for them form an irrevocable claim and I watch over them to draw them back to myself even when they stray.

Yes, they do !
by Anonymous
Many folks have yet to experience and/or believe this Godly truth. (you can believe it without * experiencing* it) It is supernatural to watch, especially when the child, friend or even spouse, *comes home*. YES, "prodigals DO come home". Our responsibility is to ensure that they have a home to come home to. Jesus, after he'd commanded the demons out of the man and into the swine, told the man to "go home". What if he'd had no home to 'go home' to ?? Never give up on your prodigals. No matter how bad they behave (love, endures all things) or how far they roam (or how painful the disconnect)...... you keep that candle in the window, and watch God bring that prodigal home....... Thanks for the great Post here ! Very encouraging !
