What about loving yourself?

Lord God, when You say the greatest commandment is to love You and love one another, what about loving yourself?

Ben, this is the key to freedom. If you do not love yourself, it is difficult to walk in My love. How do you love yourself?  You spend time with Me so that I can do the needed healing and changes that will produce that which I desire in You.  When you do this, changes take place in your personal attitudes toward loving yourself. The more time you spend with Me, the greater is the love that you have for yourself, for others, for Me. As I said before, love is the base for everything!

Thank you. I think many folks who are in low self esteem/confidence attitudes have a problem with loving themselves. Thus a significant part of the church (body of Christ) is hurting/missing, because these 'vacant' ministries are not filled as the Holy Spirit desires. We the church are all members of One Body, Christ. If one part, for example, is missing, then the whole body suffers. And God's revealing love through those who are strong in Him should facilitate healing to those who lack love for self.
