Do you have a theology of rewards? The conventional view is that all who are saved get the same outcome, and all who are not saved get the same outcome. But I am not limited to binary choices. If I can be generous to you in this life, how much more in the life to come? I told you to lay up treasure in heaven. This is not a mere figure of speech. You don’t need to know the details of how this works to know that it will be worth your time. I promise that your labor for me is not in vain, and eye has not seen nor ear heard, and you cannot imagine what I have prepared for those who love me. What do you have to do that is more important than this?
