Impact Nations works among some of the poorest, most desperate people in the world––those trying to survive in garbage dumps, on sidewalks, in shantytowns and urban slums. We are coming alongside men, women and children who are suffering severe malnutrition where death by starvation is a constant threat. Their greatest need is simply to eat.
One of our partners in India has a wonderful ministry among the beggars and the helpless that is a result of Isaiah 58 funding. Once or twice a month they make preparations to reach the poor and share the love of Christ with them, praying for their sickness and physical needs while distributing food they have prepared. This month they distributed 122 food packets to those in need, giving them rice with leafy dal curry and mineral water and sharing the gospel and praying for them personally. They are a light in these dark places, bringing physical and spiritual food to the desperate.
