You live in a culture that places great value on money. Is making money the most important thing you do? The greatest influence you have and the benefit you bring may not have an income attached to it. Do it anyway. I have promised to meet your needs. I did not promise that you would get paid for the most important thing you do. Did Paul get paid to write most of the New Testament? There is nothing wrong with seeking employment that gives you a sense of satisfaction. If what you find available is less than ideal, don’t let that stop you from pursuing your true passion and destiny.

Brilliant and Encouraging
by patriciahowitt
As an ex-lawyer turned artist (my lifetime passion), this really speaks to me. I am also learning to create the work and leave it in the Lord's hands as to how and when He wants to use it, instead of looking for the 'result' all the time. Looking for 'results' has overtones of seeking the approval of man - or else having a 'works-based' concept of salvation. Lord, lead us in truth.
Thank you for this.
thanks!
