I tossed and turned in bed, unable to fall asleep. The thought kept going through my mind: “What if I died tonight? I’m not ready to go to heaven.” Since I could not shake the thought, I got up, went downstairs and waited for my parents to come home from their meeting. When they did, I announced that I wanted to get saved, and they took me straightway to the pastor’s home where he explained the plan of salvation and led me in the sinner’s prayer. I was 15 years old when I accepted Jesus Christ into my heart as my Lord and Savior.

As Craig Ward is working through our e-learning Spirit Life module on the Pentateuch (the first five books in the Bible), he submitted the following revelations which he has allowed me to share with you. This is an example of journaling through the Bible. It is a wonderful way to combine the Word and the Spirit! Note God's passion for intimacy is demonstrated already in Genesis, and continues throughout the entire Bible.

Following is my BRIEF synopsis of this new book.

LaWanda - Oh Jesus, my Lord and my God.  Your love for me overwhelms me.  The magnitude of your all-knowing, your omniscience, is so beyond me, Lord.  How the old Testament is woven into the new.  How Isaiah 53 pictures your death.  Did Isaiah see a vision of you on the cross, Lord?  If he did, I think it would have been another WOE is ME moment when he saw you.  Thank you, Lord for your Word which so beautifully reveals who you are and how very much you love us.  Thank you, Lord.

In this dream I was stressed, dazed, tired, and unfocused. I was invited to teach a group of women. I taught them something new I was learning. My father met me the next morning and told me it was not a good teaching.

It is a joy to celebrate this day of Thanksgiving with all in our entire nation. Following is a bit of Abraham Lincoln's initial proclamation concerning this day.

Jesus sets the captives free from demonic strongholds. These strongholds come when we embrace the lies that satan and his demons drop into our minds by way of "spontaneous, flowing thoughts." We decide to accept, embrace, and believe these (otherwise called “smooching with demons”).
