For many Christian professionals and businesspeople, the prospect of practicing our faith in the marketplace is overwhelming. It’s easy to remain paralyzed in the face of so many things calling for our time and attention. In the face of an overwhelming number of choices, most marketplace Christians default to what’s comfortable and familiar, which is to focus on worldly success in business and give up on having an impact for the Kingdom.
Question sent with a request I blog out an answer: I would love to know more about content along the lines of gender (husband, wife) - I am specifically referring to the roles, freedoms, limitations and relationship structures that exist for males and females in the home. The Western Church culture seems to have a view on gender set in stone that seems to be more along the lines of unredeemed humanity, past cultural context and hierarchical structure above Spirit-led relationships. I would love to know about a kingdom view rather than a church or religious view. Thank you so much! I’m looking forward to learning more about the topic.
When I wrote my book “Go Natural” we were on the Genesis diet which is a high-carb diet. Today in America, breads have lots of chemicals in them that are outlawed in Europe. In addition, the gluten in U.S. bread is much higher than God designed. Sabrina has been through incredible trauma, including being repeatedly raped by family as a child for years, as well as being tortured. The sexual assaults continued in numerous foster homes. This led to Sabrina being institutionalized and incarcerated for violence and multiple suicide attempts. Sabrina has been homeless, suffered from alcohol and drug abuse and mental illness, and more.
