I had a dream last night that I was not at all prepared for a major test that was coming up. I was frantic. There was no way I could prepare in the short time remaining before the exam. I awoke in turmoil.

I journaled - Lord, what have I not prepared for?

For intimacy with Me. You have been consumed with other activities and have not come to hear My voice. Come that we may be together and I may share with you the things that are on My heart for you to hear and to do.

We must recognize the times we are in. Is the atmosphere divine or demonic? A divine atmosphere is filled with faith, hope, and love (1 Cor. 13:13). The demonic is filled with opposites: fear, hopelessness, anger. Right now, fear gushes like a firehose from news stations every single minute of every day. Hopelessness permeates the atmosphere. Anger toward any who would dare to disagree with the decisions of those who have chosen to dominate the people of the world is spewed with vehemence from the airwaves. So yes, the demonic is being disgorged across the world. It is seeking to penetrate the soul and spirit of every single person. We choose to resist this and instead to stay in tune with the divine, the voice of our Heavenly Father.

This prophetic insight was sent to me today from my daughter-in-law, Charla Virkler:

The first miracles Moses performed affected the Israelites as well as the Egyptians. But something changed after the first three, and suddenly Goshen was spared from each plague that came upon Egypt. 

We are living in a time when domination, control, fear, deception, and emotions are running high. Our desire is NOT to be deceived, whether by fear tactics, control freaks or by workers of miracles who are not followers of Jesus Christ. We are truly in a war so we need to also be wise as serpents or our voice will be removed from the public forum, as only the party platform is allowed there, and those who disagree with the "party line" vanish.

According to this article, “For all comparable countries that have reported provisional or estimated life expectancy for 2020 (Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, and U.S.), life expectancy at birth decreased in 2020 due to COVID-19.”

Lord, what do You want to speak to the Church today?

I have called you to be a nation of leaders, not a nation of followers. You are to LEAD and NOT to follow (Deut. 28:1-14). You are to initiate and not react. You are to hear My voice, discern My purposes, receive YOUR assignment along with My anointing to carry out that assignment and say, “Yes, Lord” to what I commission you to do (Jn. 5:19,20,30).

O give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endureth forever!

No matter what is going on in the world or in our personal lives, God’s people will always:

              Make a joyful noise unto the LORD…!

Serve the LORD with gladness: come before His presence with singing!

Know ye that the LORD He is God: it is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves;
