God this is getting crazy. Now I’m seeing angels. At least I think I am.

COME ON GOD – CUT IT OUT!! This is getting too weird now. Until now a lot of our conversations have been arguably rational. Well at least at a Christian level.

How do you mean?

Well the stuff you say, even though at the time I’m still incredulous that we’re actually talking…

Why are you always incredulous??

All this talk about the shadows of men is making me a bit uncomfortable God – I keep wanting to tell you to shoosh.

Why?

Because people, well Christians particularly don’t like to think too much about the spirit world, about demons. They hope there aren’t too many of them and some even have this crazy idea that demons can’t read our minds.

God I still can’t get used to that really being you. You don’t seem serious enough.

You know it’s really me.

I guess I do. God there are still a few church pastors nervous about this idea of having a conversation with you – they say that I’m leading people astray with this idea that we can have a back and forward conversation with you. When that happens I find that if I’m not on my guard I start doubting you.

God I was just this minute looking at Indian Motorcycles on the internet and feeling a bit guilty, feeling like I was wasting time.

Mark you’re not wasting time.

Explain?

Your time is mine. I gave it to you. It belongs to you.

That’s a contradiction in terms God – it’s yours but it’s mine. What??

Yes your time IS yours, but it’s also mine. Everything is mine.

But...?

God I’m often not comfortable with all this talk about the power of our minds, about the importance of getting our thinking right – can you explain how all that works please? Does it really fit with a conversation with you? If so can you explain how please?

Mark, the language you Christians use separates you from others.

You mean from people who aren’t Christians?

No. I mean your special religious Christian language separates you from humans in general. It doesn’t matter whether they’re Christians or not.

How do you mean God?

I mean you Christians have invented a special way of speaking that separates you from others.

What sort of other people God? This is getting frustrating!

Mark some people are very famous for casting out demons.

God the last time I published one of our conversations you said that things are going to happen, and are happening already that need discussion with you. You said that you need to explain and unfold those things to people. And now lots of people are asking me to get you to expand on those things. Shall I ask you more about the things that are to come?

What do you mean?

God this back and forward conversation with you is fantastic! I NEVER want to go back to my old sort of Christianity. NEVER!!

Mark normal Christianity is not how Christianity is meant to be. It’s how you all want it to be, and for that reason I accept it. But seriously Mark? How could a God so obviously enthusiastic about life and living that he thought up the complex beauty of a tiny ant – who invented and thrills at a raging, tossing ocean – how could that mind possibly be focused on a list of ‘dos and don’ts’??

Worry is a coward who picks on children.

God you started talking to me this morning about worry. I’m pretty sure you gave the word a capital ‘W’, almost as though you were suggesting that Worry is a thing?

Mark Worry is much more than a ‘thing’; Worry is a conniving, scheming, deadly being, a ‘power’ – he’s far stronger than you, and he wants you dead! Gone. Finished.
