The discussion regarding biblical meditation was liberating for me. The way the world defined it made me avoid it. My new biblical definition of meditation, which includes hearing God’s voice, changes the way I receive from the Word of God.
Rebecca discovers she can love motherhood
Mark stated that hating something stops the flow of God for him to prosper in that area. But once he asks God to help him love it, he can flourish in whatever it is. That stuck with me because I tend to think that I hate motherhood. God is changing my heart from hating motherhood to putting love in my heart for it. This is changing me. The biggest difference is how much more peace I have. I no longer need to make sure every offense gets consequences for it. I feel I am more on my children’s team instead of being a dictator who is enforcing rules and orders all day.
The following question was emailed to me: A spiritual friend said to me, “God is a jealous God. Jesus is not actually 'God.' There is only one God.” This counsel has hindered my journaling. So my question is, “Does the Father approve of me calling Jesus My God?"
With thousands of churches holding thousands of different theological beliefs, what is the chance that my theology is correct, perfect, and completely true? I’m going to assume there’s very little chance that my theology is totally correct and completely perfect.
The Constitution of the United States clearly states that the government cannot interfere with religious faith. Yet during the last two years, the government demanded that believers not gather together, and if they did, they were not to sing or shout in worship - behaviors that are clearly historically and biblically integral aspects of our Chistian faith.
