The discussion regarding biblical meditation was liberating for me. The way the world defined it made me avoid it. My new biblical definition of meditation, which includes hearing God’s voice, changes the way I receive from the Word of God.
Rebecca discovers she can love motherhood
Mark stated that hating something stops the flow of God for him to prosper in that area. But once he asks God to help him love it, he can flourish in whatever it is. That stuck with me because I tend to think that I hate motherhood. God is changing my heart from hating motherhood to putting love in my heart for it. This is changing me. The biggest difference is how much more peace I have. I no longer need to make sure every offense gets consequences for it. I feel I am more on my children’s team instead of being a dictator who is enforcing rules and orders all day.
So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts. (2 Pet. 1:19)

As I move forward in my Christian life, walking on God’s highway of holiness, being guided and illumined by the Holy Spirit, I discover God is removing lies which have been stumbling blocks to my walk in the spirit. Below are some of these common roadblocks He removes.
