Abound!

Dale Cresap's picture

My apostle said that he knew how to be abased and how to abound. Do you? Do you have a strong preference for abounding? Yet knowing how to abound in this sense means more than just seeking abundance for its own sake, for my word also teaches you that when riches increase not to set your heart upon them. Can you enjoy the great provision I give and keep it in perspective, still seeking the Kingdom of God first? More people fail the test of wealth than the test of poverty. My available supply is not limited but I know how much you can handle and don’t want to ruin you. Set your heart of me and hold the blessings I give with a loose grip and I will be able to trust you with more of them.

Bread for Today

Dale Cresap's picture

I led my people through a wilderness in which there was nothing available to eat. To meet their needs for food I provided manna which was essential for their support, but gave them instructions not to store it to the following day. Do you see any parallels in your own life? Water is essential for life but for most people water is available on tap, so there is no need to store it. What else do you require on a daily basis? These examples serve to illustrate a greater principle of the need for spiritual nourishment. Have you tried to live on yesterday’s blessings, on the basis of your relationship to me in the past? There is no need for this. My mercies are new every morning, and I want you to walk in them fresh every day.

Many SMALL conversations lead to one BIG picture when youre talking with a HUGE God

Mark Holloway's picture

God it’s the beginning of the year so I want to put a plan together with you for the business.

Good.

Can I expect immediate answers the way you tell me I can?

You can.

God?

Mark you know you can hear me.

I sure hope I’m not making this up God?

You’re not, you know you’re right on target.

Religion’s most sinister lie is that we cannot converse with each other if your behaviour isn’t up to scratch.

Mark Holloway's picture

God?

Mark how would you like to hear me?

What’s that supposed to mean God? I don’t know what you mean.

No you don’t. You Christians think you know how to hear me, but actually you’re not very good at it at all.

That’s a bit offensive God. Plenty of us try very hard to hear you.

You do.

So what’s stops us?

Dive in and swim against the tide.

Mark Holloway's picture

God I think I heard you saying early this morning that I would have to swim against the tide of religious opinion?

No I didn’t say you’d ‘have to’. That’s Religion again. He’s always adding his manipulative mischief to what I say. He drives my people this way and that with so many dos and don’ts. He demands and shouts, whereas I ask and suggest.

Ok. Would you LIKE me to swim against religion’s tide?

I Hate Writing So How Can I Journal?

Mark Virkler's picture

Mark, I hate writing, and I essentially don’t write. Is there any chance of sending me a paragraph on what you spoke about yesterday on the phone about breaking off any lies, fears of writing, fears of English and resentments toward school teachers, so I could pray through these things and get into two-way journaling? Thanks, Noel

Why God hides huge truth inside things that dont look Godly to us.

Mark Holloway's picture

God I think you’re saying that you hide big truths inside people and situations that look completely wrong to us believers? That Religion’s rules about where we will find truth are NOT your rules?

Yes exactly. I’ve always hidden truth like that. Historically, when I have revealed truth, it’s often been believers who have been most unhappy with it.

Can you explain?

Of course. Write down these examples as I explain them.

Why, when you glimpse God through another’s eyes it builds your soul.

Why God sounds different through each of us – the common people. And why he likes it that way.

God, Charity Kayembe said something the other day that made me realise you sound different through each of us. That’s HUGE isn’t it?

It is. Let’s look at what she said and why it’s so significant.
