LaWanda - Praise God from whom all blessings flow. I always thought that “God” was God the Father, Lord. I thank you for all you are – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I feel like I know Jesus and the Holy Spirit to some degree but I don’t feel like I know the Father at all. O Ancient of Days, help me to know you – reveal yourself to me through Jesus and Holy Spirit today.
LaWanda – I praise you. I thank you, Lord. How you are continuing to pour yourself out on me! Even in these moments this morning as I read your word. Precious, Jesus, Thank you.
I see you this morning as the Shepherd. You are carrying me again - that sheep with my name on it, is in your arms. If it is possible for a lamb to smile, I am smiling because as we are walking you are speaking words of blessing over me. Words of life, words of joy. Almost like singing, Lord. Amazing, Lord. Just amazing. What are you saying to me, Lord, in that moment and in this one?
Here I am on my porch swing. Our swing Lord for you have met with me so many times in this spot. There is an amazing breeze blowing reminding me of your Spirit wind, your breath that breathes life into people. Lord I know that without your breath my life would be over physically and spiritually. Every literal breath a gift to the just and unjust. I see my absolute need for you in my life. Hahaha Now the wind is blowing stronger and the child in me wants to go grab my kite. First things first LORD what would you like to say to me?
I sat with the Lord on a Hillside. He softly said “MY sheep hear My voice”. Thank you, Lord, for we can hear Your voice.
LaWanda – O Lord, I love you. O how I love you, Lord. I don’t understand why I can’t seem to stay awake this morning. I got to bed at 9:00 last night and I still can’t keep my eyes open. I hate this, Lord. I want my time with you to be productive and I just don’t see how it can be if I can’t stay awake.
LaWanda – O Jesus. I had plenty of time this morning and now it’s gone. Where did it go? I love you, Lord. I thank you lord. I thank you, Lord, for giving me this day.
Thank you LORD for all that you are showing me. I am hungry for more! There is a dissatisfaction in me that I believe is sacred. I never want to not want more of all that you are. Show me how you see me in this verse: Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path (Ps. 119:105).
My people stand up and plead your case before me for I am the God whom loves you. Tell me what it is that you need. I am the God of your source. Speak to the mountains and they will be moved. Walk and talk to me today. I long for you to walk in victory.

LaWanda - Lord, as I read your words to me here in this journal, I am undone. How I could not spend every waking moment here, I do not know. It is so precious to be in Your presence and have you speak so gently to me. Lord, forgive my laziness, my surrender to my flesh. I want more of you but know I don’t deserve it. I fall so short. Help me, Lord. From Song of Songs, “May your breath be upon me until I am fully yours. Spare nothing, Lord, until you make me your fruitful garden. Hold nothing back until I release Your fragrance. Come walk with me as you walked with Adam. Taste the fruits of Your life in me.”*
