Ray Broad, a dear brother in our Lord, resides in New Zealand. As a retired pastor, He found new freedom in two-way communicating with our God through the teachings of Drs. Mark and Patti Virkler. Following is one of Ray's journal entries he shared with me that reflects this new found freedom and speaks to our Lord's great love:

John 17, verse 24: "For you loved Me before the foundation of the world." Dear Lord, the love the Father had for You was everything to You. Please speak to me of this love.

While the following message was given for a specifice person, what is shared can apply to many. Perhaps you are feeling dry.  Perhaps you need to share. Read this, seek the Living Water, and share what you receive!

Holy Lord, we know that the greatest commandment is to love you. What do we need to do to be more intimate with You?

Blessed Holy Lord Jesus, Your comments, please, upon Psalm 103, verse 2: "Bless the Lord O my soul, do not forget all His benefits".

My wife, Mary, does not have the freedom that I do in hearing our Lord's voice. So we do exercises periodically to hone our skills. We quiet ourselves in the presence of Jesus and ask Him the same question and then write down what we hear. Here is one of our sessions:

Lord, please tell us about the very great numbers of people who were killed by Your people and others as recorded in the Scriptures. The numbers are overwhelming. Did You cause them to perish, allow them to perish, or what?

1-17-12 10:37am. Lord, as I soak in Your presence this morning, thank You for continuing to make Your truths known to me. I just realized that I have been so wrapped up in wanting to do what you are asking me to do that I have failed to just soak in Your presence and enjoying being with You. Forgive me, O Lord. And thank You for another lesson reinforced.

Blessed Holy Lord Jesus, what kind of religious "stuff" do I need to remove?

Lord, God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, You are one, yet You are three in one. There is much I need to grasp about the whole concept. What will You share with me on this subject?
