Two Options for Discipling Your Congregation
and Earning Degrees from Christian Leadership University
Lamad: Real life, biblically-grounded, revelation-based learning
Very low to no start-up costs. The leaders of Encounter Groups must be trained by taking two CLU courses, Communion With God and Experiencing God in the Small Group. |
|
Administration and record-keeping of CLU students are done by CLU. |
|
All people being discipled in your congregation enroll directly with CLU. |
|
You can cover the cost of training your elders and providing accredited degrees for your home cell group leaders and Sunday school teachers through the financial incentives built into the L.E.G. system. |
|
Each Lamad Group participant pays $125 tuition to CLU per course, of which $50 is given to your group leaders in the form of tuition credits toward future courses from CLU (i.e., $25 for each paying CLU student brought into the group and $25 for grading the students coursework as a CLU adjunct faculty member). Your leadership can receive teaching and experience while they train your people. All training of your congregation happens in the context of your local church and is done by your local leaders!

Benefits of Earning College Degrees by Establishing a Church-Centered Bible School Using Lamad Curriculum Accepted by CLU:
The $1995 recommended start-up cost provides your school with more than 100 course syllabi and all course texts needed for approximately 30 of the courses. |
|
Administration and record-keeping are done by your congregation. |
|
Your congregation enrolls directly into your school taking all courses except one, which must be taken with CLU if they want a degree from CLU. |
|
Your leadership can enroll directly with CLU if they desire and work toward their own degrees, taking a course with CLU before they teach it in your local church. |
|
You may charge any tuition you desire and keep that money to build your church and Bible school. |

The Lamad Educational Format Offers the Following Unique Emphases:
-
We value the principle of hiding the Word in our hearts (Ps. 119:11) so highly that Lamad Curriculum requires participants to memorize a life-changing verse from the Bible in nearly every lesson of every course.
-
We value the principle of acting only according to the Fathers initiative (Jn. 5:30; 8:26; 14:10) so highly that Lamad Curriculum requires participants to hear from God personally in every lesson, and to record what He is saying to them.
- We value the principle of writing for ourselves a copy of Scripture (Deut. 17:18,19) so highly that Lamad Curriculum requires participants to write out Scriptures in nearly every lesson.
Memorization of the Bible, hearing from the Holy Spirit and writing out Scriptures are central to the Lamad Curriculum training process.
Remember, states will not allow you to put anything in print about a program leading toward a college degree unless the state you are in has approved your Bible College. Utmost caution must be maintained in all advertising to stay within state law or you may incur state fines and lawyers fees. The name Christian Leadership University is not to be put in any printed materials by your church.
