The goal of this little booklet by Jessica De Krijger is to help young children, ages 3 and up, learn how to start hearing God's voice for themselves. It is never too early to teach your children that they can hear from God. They are primed to do this. God's Spirit is urging them to come to Him. So reinforce this call with this beautiful full-color booklet which you can read to your children. Discover more at the Playtime With Jesus Website.
"Thank you, Jessica, for the books you gave out at Kids' Church. My girls were showing theirs to their grandmother and she said how great they were. Apparently, she asked for her own copy, which we got her. I am sure that in all her years of church-going no one has ever explained to her how easy it is to spend time with Jesus - or how much He truly loves her! I am so hopeful about the way that God will use your book in her life." - Jenn, Ontario, Canada
"This encouraging little book makes me feel hopeful that I too really can develop a living, breathing, ongoing relationship with the invisible God. With this book I can help our grandchildren grow their own relationship with Jesus." - Barbara, Ontario, Canada
"Let's do more than teach our children about God. Let’s teach them that they can interact with Him everywhere they are! It’s time we give our children a living God who wants to encounter them where they play. This book offers that opportunity." - Mark Virkler, USA
Nothing compares to the joy of watching a child you love falling deeper in love with our Lord! The following was written by an 8 year old girl as her family went through the training on how to hear God's voice. Let's make sure families are journaling together and sharing their journaling together as a family! Let's make every effort to see that the children's versions of the 4 keys to hearing God's voice training is being offered in our churches, families and home groups.
Why not order training materials for your entire family and/or grandchildren and the children's classes in your church? Let's get families journaling together! Check out the teen version, pre-teen version, 4-8 year old version and the Family Training Pack.
“Throne room worship” is defined as “joining the heavenly chorus in the throne room in praise, worship and adoration before our King.” Since we are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Eph. 2:6), we are already present in the throne room. As we look, we can see the worship taking place before the Lord. As worshippers on earth, we are joining with this multitude in the heavens and together we are worshipping before our King. See an example of throne room worship here (start 12 minutes in).
It had been a full year and a half since my daughter Katelyn Marie perished in a car accident while rushing home one evening to beat curfew. The pain of that moment, of the whole experience was my Great Sadness (see The Shack by Wm. Paul Young) bearing down on me daily and especially at night. Evenings were most difficult because the plague of "what ifs" would cover me from tip to toe, mulling me over in his clammy hands never letting go and squeezing every ounce of joy from my soul.
