I learned a lot about healing methodologies as I researched and wrote this book. It is a culmination of 40 years of pursuing health through any and every means mentioned in the Bible. I am thrilled and honored to walk in health at age 73 and am passionate to pass on to you and your students the keys I have found. Discover the root cause
Learn to ask God what the root cause is of the infirmity, sickness, or disease you are facing, and then what step He wants you to take to remove this root cause so you can heal. Since about 90% of all illness has an emotional root, ask the Lord, "What did I experience just before this illness struck?" Then pray through the issue(s)/events which He reveals to you. Realize that sickness and disease can be caused by many different factors, and that the path to healing involves many possible cures. Learn to pursue each method of healing as led by the Lord until full restoration is yours.
Expect deliverance to be a part of the healing process
You will discover that more than 25% of the times Jesus prayed for healing, He also cast demons out as part of the healing process. You will learn to do the same. You will explore the centrality of forgiveness in healing. For example, we had prayed three times for healing for pain in a lady's back and shoulders. She informed us that it was better but "I still have a pain in my neck." We asked if someone was "a pain in her neck," and she broke down in tears. She was willing to be led in a prayer of forgiveness, release, and blessing as she pictured this individual in her mind. We prayed once more and all pain was gone! "Forgive everything against everyone so that your prayers are not hindered."

In addition to healing prayer, great nutrition and exercise, you can restore a damaged organ in your body by removing any emotions which contributed to the organ's malfunction and any false identification you may have made with this infirmity by saying, "This is who I am." For example, "I am a heart attack victim." This free, downloadable prayer worksheet takes you through the steps.
I concluded that stress was the major cause of my heart attack, so I became diligent to enter God’s rest (Hebrews 4:11). Part of this rest involves a heart that is at peace with myself and others. The peace of God guards our hearts (Phil. 4:6-7). Being emotionally troubled over relationships does not result in peace or rest for one’s heart.
I know for many years of my life, judging ruled rather than mercy and peace. Micah 6:8 says I am to DO justly and LOVE mercy. I had those two flipped: I loved judging and only did mercy. After being critical, I would feel anger or contempt about the person or the situation. This is not peace. These negative emotions surely damaged my heart and contributed toward my heart attack.
A cardiac nurse emailed me. She was convinced from what she had seen over the years that afib after a heart attack was caused by fear. Hmmm. Interesting observation.
I know the heart carries memories and I have written about that here. I also know that Jesus can cleanse memories of trauma stored in my cells and discuss that here.
