Fay, I heard your thought that you felt you were big-headed and your fear that others will think you arrogant. Daughter, I AM with you and I AM in you. You have submitted yourself to Me in loyalty and obedience. I have seen and heard the tears of your grief. I have seen your suffering when you have stayed the course and done as I have said when you have been persecuted and betrayed in My Name. For that you will be rewarded because I know you are Mine and that you have finally crossed your own barrier of mistrust and fear. You crossed the threshold and now trust Me. Not only will I give you a vineyard you have not planted, I will give you many, for you have sown thousands of seeds as you have given your life, the life of personal self-will. It has come at a personal cost and I see and know this and I AM with you, and I love you, Daughter. You are My precious possession. I honor and respect your loyalty and trust in Me in the face of your own discomfort and need. Yes, you are becoming more and more submitted to Me. You listen to My voice and I love you. I asked and you answered. You said, Here I am, Lord, the sweetest sound to My ears. I believe you would die for Me, and you have!   Thank You, Lord. Your words encourage me and embarrass me at the same time. I so want to do Your will and I fail miserably at times, more times than Id care to admit.   Daughter, there is no failure in Me, only lessons learned and fine tuning in the Spirit. Sometimes the Fire burns and other times It is a Healing Balm and other times It is the Harsh Disciplinarian, and other times the Teacher and Comforter. You are in a time of Its healing, comforting and teaching. Listen well and learn. I have asked you to follow My every lead and you have done that and continue to do that. I AM well pleased. Well done, little sister. I AM rejoicing in your trust in Me. I will never fail you or lead you astray, never! Peace be still, little one. I AM with you now and always and in all things. Receive of Me. I breathe My Breath of Life on you and into your being. I love you. I heard your thoughts about the opinions and beliefs of others and of their criticisms and judgments of you. Let go of the past, daughter, dust off your sandals, focus on Me. Do not concern yourself with others unbelief. You have repented and grown and moved on. You have and are willing to look at the truth of your actions. Self-examination is hard, yet you are doing it and reaping the rewards of self-denial and doing the right thing. I AM raising you up to be a great leader in Me, daughter, in Me. I know that you are submitted and will remain because I have your heart and My Heart is in yours, firmly planted. We will dance through eternity from here. You will be Mine always and in all ways. I love you and thank you for answering My Call. I know it has not been easy and the road is narrow and hard at times, but the rewards are great. It did not go unnoticed by Me that you were willing to give up your home and your lucrative income, and willing to live a more humble life in My Name if needed. You will be rewarded beyond your wildest imaginings.

Making the Most of a Two-way Conversation with God Mark Virkler
When the Lord speaks to us, He is looking for a response back from us. God loves dialogue and relationship with His children. God may say things to you like the following:

1. Dont try to do what only God can do.
2. Do fulfill your part, which is going to Him always
3. Do be transparent when you come to God.
4. Stop hiding your real self when you come to God
5. He will keep you.

I have learned that when God speaks things to me, it is best to engage in a dialogue with Him about these things. For example, with the above, I would ask Lord, what am I trying to do, that is really a thing that only You can do? If You dont want me doing that thing, then what should I be doing? The reason I do that particular thing is because .. What do You want to say to me about my reason for doing that particular thing?

Lord, when am I not transparent as I come to You? Lord, the reason I am not fully transparent is because I am afraid that . What do You want to say about that fear? Lord, would You help me understand why I hide my real self when I come to You? Lord, how can I best remove my reasons for hiding my real self when I come to You? Lord, You say You will keep me; what exactly does that mean? In what ways am I responsible to keep myself and in what ways are You the One responsible to keep me?

Then, of course, if you have any response you are not sure came from God, you share it with your three spiritual advisors.

The walk of faith is a walk of faith, and without faith it is impossible to please God. Be a God-pleaser. Have faith in God. Look and listen, and believe what you receive comes from Him. Submit it to your three spiritual advisors so you can run with assurance.

Run the race, finish the course, obtain the prize. Do not let satans doubt, fear or unbelief, or your unwillingness to utilize spiritual counselors, rob you of Gods choice blessings for your life. Run in faith and obedience.

CLU Students Write - Paul Wolak

I am not yet finished with my first course, and already it has changed my life and ministry. I have been learning to tune to the flow of the Holy Spirit within me and live out of His voice like I never have in the past! I guess its not that His grace is more available, but that I have apprehended more of what is already mine in Christ. God had given me a teaching a few years back based on Proverbs 20:5 called Living Out of the Well. What the Holy Spirit has been teaching me out of this course has brought me to greater depths on this subject, and has made it possible for me to live more of the Word than I have been able to live in the past. I knew that grace, beyond being just unmerited favor, was his ability in me to live the Christ life, but now I am experiencing it! Crystal waters are flowing from the throne (the Christ I in my spirit, my innermost being), and those waters are washing, cleansing, and changing me, and enabling me to minister more effectively by His Spirit.

How to Get Sound Sleep
Q. Dear Mark and Patti: I am presently reading your book How to Hear Gods Voice which I have found very helpful. I am on Chapter 3 How I Can Become Still. I am 57 years old and for the last 20 years I have not slept well. I think it is due to the fact that for the first 37 years of my life I really pushed myself and lost the ability to relax, which I have never regained.

I have had a lot of ministry and prayer for the situation and also sought help from traditional medicine and alternative medicine with no results. I would like to try different relaxation techniques with the help of biofeedback equipment that you mentioned in your book. Would the GSR2 be sufficient for this or should I get the GSR Temp2X? David

A. Dear David, Sleep is critically important to your health and overall well being. Both the GSR2 and GSR Temp2X biofeedback machines will work fine for you and can be ordered from www.mindgrowth.com. If you can afford the more expensive one, get that.

I have had similar problems concerning sleep. I slept great for the first 37 years and not well for the last 18. Here is what I have found that has helped me.

I use vision and relaxation and breathing to help me get to sleep. This is what I do.

1. I breathe in and out slowly saying the name Jesus over and over
2. As I breathe in I say JE (and I see His light coming in with my breath since breath and spirit are the same word in the Bible)
3. As I breathe out I say SUS and I see my semilight going back out to Jesus.

So I am utilizing the techniques of 1) picturing, 2) repetition and 3) slow breathing. Picturing takes you beyond thoughts (since thoughts are left brain and picturing is right brain), and repetition takes you inward into your heart (the Psalms are full of repetition). And, of course, when you do get to sleep, your breathing has slowed down, so in manually slowing down my breathing, I am preparing my body for sleep. Why dont you try these and see if they help?

The second problem I (and many others) face is waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to go back to sleep. To solve this, I utilize several natural herbal products particularly 5-HTP and Restful Night Essentials and others which you could get from a natural health store.

I have found a combination of several work best for me (I especially like Russian Gold from FreeLife), and after not sleeping well for a number of years, I now get a great night of restful sleep once again.

Laughter Heals!
After every flight pilots fill out a form, called a gripe sheet, which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft. The mechanics correct the problems, document their repairs on the form, and then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight.

Never let it be said that ground crews lack a sense of humor. Here are some maintenance complaints submitted by pilots (marked with a P) and the solutions recorded (marked with an S) by maintenance engineers.

P: Left inside main tire almost needs replacement.
S: Almost replaced left inside main tire.

P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough.
S: Auto-land not installed on this aircraft.

P: Something loose in cockpit.
S: Something tightened in cockpit.

P: Dead bugs on windshield.
S: Live bugs on back-order.

P: Autopilot in altitude-hold mode produces a 200 feet per minute descent.
S: Cannot reproduce problem on ground.

P: Evidence of leak on right main landing gear.
S: Evidence removed.

P: DME volume unbelievably loud.
S: DME volume set to more believable level.

P: Friction locks cause throttle levers to stick.
S: Thats what friction locks are for.

P: IFF inoperative in OFF mode.
S: IFF always inoperative in OFF mode.

P: Suspected crack in windshield.
S: Suspect youre right.

P: Number 3 engine missing.
S: Engine found on right wing after brief search.

P: Aircraft handles funny.
S: Aircraft warned to: straighten up, fly right, and be serious.

P: Target radar hums.
S: Reprogrammed target radar with lyrics.

P: Mouse in cockpit.
S: Cat installed.

And the best one for last..................

P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a dwarf pounding on something with a hammer.
S: Took hammer away
