Mark Virkler often discusses the difference between the function of the left and right hemispheres of the brain, as well as ways to help you shift from one hemisphere to the other.
You can find out if you are more naturally "right-brained" or "left-brained" with various fun self-tests. Click here to download a brain preference indicator test (PDF). You can print this out for yourself and your family members to complete. It is fun for all, and it is a great learning experience. It can really promote family understanding and family harmony.Tip: Retake the test multiple times. Picture yourself in various life settings each time, (at home, work, etc.) to see if you are getting thrown off balance and not really being yourself while at work or at home or at play, to see if you are getting thrown off balance in particular circumstances. If so, ask the Lord what He would like to say to you concerning this. Make any adjustments He recommends.
You can also do a simple Google search to find many other interactive, self-scoring, left brain/right brain tests.
