Lord, Jesus, friend, father, and counselor... There are no words that can describe my love for you. I am so grateful for all that you have done for me. I am in awe that you will never leave me or forsake me regardless of my continuous weaknesses. You love to spend time with me even when I get so distracted with life that I forget that you are there. You are a good father to me. You have led me and directed me in life. I can look back and see how you have quietly guided me to where I am today, which gives me confidence in where you will continue to bring me into the future. You continually give me peace in areas where I feel restless whenever I turn and put my focus on You.
Beka Joy, my beloved daughter, and friend. There are no words that can describe my love for you. I called you Joy before the foundations of the earth because that is what you give me: JOY. You are my joy, my beloved. I dance over you. I look at you and smile. I see my son Jesus in you. I delight in watching you learn how to walk in me. I eagerly watch each step you take and when you fall, I love how you look to me to pick you up, comfort you and encourage you to try again. I am your good father and will always be.
