True Rest - Journaling Prayer by LaWanda

LaWanda - Precious Jesus, how I love you. I thank you, Lord, for your mercy that endures forever. Lord, I need it. I need you, Lord.

I see me, Lord, at your feet.  I am resting at your feet. My head rests heavily on your thigh. There is much peace here. I am weary, Lord and I need your peace. I need your rest, Lord. Help me as I rest here. Restore my soul, Lord Jesus.

Jesus - LaWanda, my dear one. My love for you encompasses all of you. The good, the bad, and the ugly. I am the way to whatever you seek.  I am the answer, whatever the question. You just have to turn to me and see it.  I can awaken you and give you strength or I can hold you in my arms and give you strength through rest.  This is true rest, LaWanda. Here in my arms is rest like no other.

R – Release it all to me

E – Everything goes

S – Surrender totally

T – Trust that I have you
