After hearing Mark Virkler teach on the flow of the Holy Spirit and the flow of demonic spirits, I discerned that I was under attack of demons of lust, sensuality and a demon of pain which was causing my headaches.
I listened as the man on the phone shared the years of stress in his relationship with his "jealous" wife. According to him, she was fearful that if he even glanced at a woman, he was going to have an affair with her. I counseled him that both of them needed to go through Prayers that Heal the Heart. He agreed, but said when he suggested it, she backed away. I recommended binding the demons within her so that she was free to make her own decision, without the influence of controlling spirits.

Between 1/4 and 1/3 of Jesus’ prayers/commands for divine intervention involved the casting out of demons. This ratio is often not practiced today, although I personally have made it my goal to practice it. So what was the attitude of the early Church concerning the matter of casting out of demons as people became believers?
When I began to do two-way journaling in 1979, the Lord gave me a poem for the first time ever in my life, as far as I can remember. He was awakening creativity and right brain flow. Well, below is a poem received yesterday by Linda Burton. She posted it on the School of the Spirit Chatroom for the Prayers that Heal the Heart course. As Jesus is restoring her heart and restoring her self image, poetry is springing forth which describes the healing process.

The testimony below is from Robert Thomas, a Sergeant in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. God set him free through a short inner healing and deliverance prayer session over Skype. A couple of weeks ago in a Prayers That Heal the Heart Seminar I was teaching on casting out demons and I instructed the folks that they were to set their hearts against the demon and hate it as we commanded it to come out. Well, I was asked the question, "Is it ever right to hate?" I assured them that the Bible described many things God hated and we pressed on. My recollection was of many Old Testament verses which stated God hated various things. So I decided to check for the word "hate" in the New Testamment, and here is what I found.
