There Has Never Been a Time – Journaling Prayer by LaWanda

LaWanda – O Jesus, precious Lord, how I praise you.  How I love you.  How I am in AWE of you.  I stand in AWE of you, Lord, unable to move.  That you, who sit above the circle of the earth, looked down and set into motion all that would have to occur regarding Mike’s heart – all that would HAVE TO occur to bring him where he is today, Lord.*  How can it not inspire AWE?

O Jesus, that’s how I see you today, sitting above the circle of the earth, directing the traffic of your children’s lives.  I see you on that day, looking down, hearing our cries and with one breath from your mouth, you set every single thing in motion.  I see me praising you, Lord, thanking you, loving you as ALL that would need to happen begins to occur.  I am undone, Lord, by your grace continually poured out on us.

Jesus – O LaWanda, my dear one, the one I see.  Yes, the one I see, as you praise Me, as you sing your heart out praising me and lifting Me up.  You are the one I hear, LaWanda.  I hear every cry that comes out of your mouth.  Every tear that you cry in worship of me, I hold even NOW in My bottle, LaWanda.  I care about you, dear one.  I love you  and I am perfecting ALL – EVERYTHING - that concerns you.  My hand has been on you since before you were born and it is on you now!  Rest in this, dear one.  There has never been a time when My hand was not on you.  There has NEVER been a time – not one – when I have forsaken you.  All those years when you were “away from Me,” I WAS NOT AWAY FROM YOU!

Rest in this, LaWanda.  This is enough to ponder for eternity.

* If Mike hadn’t had the pancreatitis, 

If he hadn’t had the Cat Scan while he was in the hospital,

If the doctor hadn’t written the report of the Cat Scan wrong,

If the oncologist hadn’t just happened to read that part of the report out loud,

the 70% blockage in his LAD “widow maker” artery would have remained hidden and he would probably have died of a heart attack.  But God said it was not his time and in His great mercy, He intervened.  Mike lived two and a half more years!
