There Is Freedom in the Bosom of Heaven Journaling by Kalyn Garlow

Press into Me, my child.  Do you not know that there is freedom in the bosom of heaven?  I have plans for you. You strive for the accolades of the world, the treasures of this earth, yet they are of no eternal value.  I know what you have need of. You seek to find your happiness and significance in the monetary system of this world. When, my child, will you see that you hold far greater treasure within your heart? 

I am the intimacy and companionship that you desire.  Face the fear of failure and understand that there is no fear that is greater than my love for you.  I know that day by day you are challenged by your doubts and fears, but I am greater than the sum of all of your fears, real or imagined.  It is time to look away from what you can see with your natural eyes and gaze into the lens of my spirit. Get above the chaos of life and see the peace that exists within my bosom.  I am your home, I am your peace, I am your substance, I am your provision, I am your income, I am all that you have need of now and forevermore. 

I hold your today and tomorrow has no meaning, because tomorrow never comes. It is always today that you live within. You are bound by time and space. This I have done to keep you in my perfect peace, to keep you from changing the past or from worrying about the future.  I am your today and today you are in me.  Today you have the power to overcome by the word of your testimony, I have held the stars in place and I have held you through every path you have chosen for yourself in this life. I will continue to walk in you and with you.  I have your lamp and light to walk and guide you upon this path of life, I am your rearguard, protecting you from the fowler’s snare and extinguishing the flaming arrows that fly against you.  I am your fortress, I am your great walled city, I am your God. 

Papa, affectionately you can call me, Papa.  I am the gentle God of creation. You are good; you are the apple of my eye.  Some might say that I am slow to rescue, but I am not slow. I am with you and I am guiding you even in the darkest of nights.  You may feel condemnation, but it is not me that speaks condemnation over you. Silence your fears. There are no mistakes that you can make that will erase my love for you.  I am affectionately yours. I am able to still and mend your broken heart.  You are not broken, you are not a failure, you are perfectly and wonderfully made in the image of your creator, Me.  I am merciful, full of grace and forgiveness. 

I see you perfectly through the blood of my son. I do not sit in condemnation of what you consider weaknesses. I sit in admiration of your willingness to be molded into a more perfect being.  In creation there is none that can replace you and the purpose for which I created you. If you were the only one, I would still have died for you. You are my heart.... 

We rejoice with you as you seek to move in the face of opposition.  Do not consider the current persecution of my church to be a curse, but consider it all joy that you are found worthy of opposition.  You are made in my image; what could possibly be wrong with you? I am perfect and my perfection is made perfect in you.  I see past every weakness and so called flaw that the world has labeled my children with. There is no imperfection in my creation. 

Judgment is my assignment alone. I do not need help judging the earth or my creation. I am a just judge, able to see the whole case and I am the only judge of you or anyone else for that matter.  I am merciful; be like me, be merciful.  I am kind and patient; be like me.  I am full of hope and excited about each day that I spend with you on earth and in heaven. Be like me, be full of hope and excitement for this day. 

I am your everlasting light. I am all that you are seeking.  I know that you feel. I know that you hurt, I know that you strive, but I am here I have never left you. I am your comforter, I am your guide.  Please just reach out to me in your despair and I will comfort you, I know where the pain originates from and I am the mender of brokenness. I make all things new and I am willing.  I am a joy filled happy God; I am not a mean dictator sitting on a throne demanding of your adoration. I am here for you when you stop to listen to me. I am speaking to you, I am watching you always, I am commanding my angels concerning you always.  Never have you walked without me; even in your darkest hours I have been there a constant glimmer of light and hope.

I know that you have many questions that you feel go unanswered, but the season of your awakening is now and it is time for you to begin to walk in that awakened sense of reality.  I know that faith is an intangible that cannot be grasped, but is but the substance of what you hope for and the evidence of the unseen.  Know that you walk with a greater awareness of me than the saints that have gone before you. You have gifts that they could not have even comprehended.  The enemy army is ramping up their attack in the final hours and I am opening up heaven for more revelation for my saints so that they can walk in understanding and revelation knowledge as never before.  Settle in your spirit that I am for you and not against you and that I have made a way for you in the wilderness. I am your manna from heaven.  Go forth with boldness and with courage like Caleb.  I am not weak, I am not slow, I am not scared. I have formed you, I knit you together in your mother’s womb.  I am the beginning and I am the end and I am all that is in between.  I am eternity and you are eternally mine.  I know that you seek to understand me within time and space. I know that you want to place me into your realm of understanding, but you must come up to me and come outside of the limits of your realm. 

You must draw deeper into me and come above the chaos created by the enemy of your soul.  There is peace in me; there is simplicity in me. There is an uncomplicated realm that seems difficult to comprehend but I am with you and I am willing to open your heart and mind and soul to greater revelation because I love you with an eternal undying love.  I am your Papa, I am your Abba, I am your Father, I am your God, I am your Creator, I am all that you need in every moment of this life and the life to come.  I have plans for you and I choose to give you purpose and I choose to give you all that is good and perfect.  I love you.  I love you!
