I have the honor of teaching the Communion With God class online for Kairos University. Below is a cool journal entry from one of the students who has just learned how to journal.
Question from Nafetalai: How do You want me to glorify You?
This was the question I asked for God to answer, and to be honest, it took a few minutes to get into flow, but when I did, this is what came to me.
Answer: This is what Jesus spoke and I journaled out.
"Have you tried Jesus?" I want you to start a campaign using the slogan "Have you tried Jesus?" I want you to use social media platforms, t-shirts, hoodies, hats, etc...flood the world with Jesus. Be comforted in the storm, He is a God of compassion.
Mark Virkler's comments. I LOVE this slogan. Nafetalai said he was not set up now to put this on t-shirts. Does anyone want to assist and market this? Contact him at: fmvanisi@gmail.com
Comment from a reader of this blog: I met Jesus at age 14 in 1972. However, in 1971 there was a song written by Phil Perkins just in time for me! For a singing group called "Good New Circle" sang it to me a year later. It was the hymn: Have You Tried Jesus?
It is in the Key of G and written in cut time with the following lyrics . . .
Verse #1 Have you tried Jesus in all your searching?
Have you tried Jesus for peace within?
If you want answers to your life's problems,
Have you tried Jesus to set you free?
Verse #2 Have you tried Jesus as Lora and Savior?
Have you tried Jesus to free you within?
To find the answers to your life's problems,
Have you tried Jesus to set you free?
Verse #3 Have you tried Jesus as Lora and Savior?
Will you try Jesus to free you from sin?
You'll find the answers to your life's problems,
Will you try Jesus to set you free?
