We are thrilled to announce that a CLU student who completed a Master of Divinity from Christian Leadership University while in prison, is now out and has been ordained and become active in ministry! Thank You, Lord, for Your amazing grace.
Pictured is David Sparks being prayed for during his ordination service.
David shares: I've moved out of the half-way house into transitional housing until I find an apartment to move into. I work at the Community Action Partnership, a non-profit that distributes food and services to the needy people in the area. It is a part-time job. One that is enriching and allows me much opportunity to minister to people. Thus far, the Lord has been leading me to use my chaplain's license in community outreach, supporting the pastor at my local church, and with family and friends.
Thank You, Lord, for Your amazing grace, and for blessing C.L.U. in the past, now, and abundantly in the future. And thank you, Dr. Virkler, and to your wife, Patti, for courageously moving forward in faith into your ministry. Praise God!
