33:3 ASK ME by Lacey Godfrey is her real life story, and it is thrilling. You have read the stories in the Bible of Abraham, Moses, King David, Jesus and the Apostle Paul, who allowed their lives to be led by the voice of God. Well, Lacey has done the same thing.

She has learned how to hear God’s voice and she has decided to live her life out of His voice. She shares the drama that has unfolded as the riches of God have been released into her life. One of her most beloved verses is: “Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come” (Jeremiah 33:3 NLT).

Lacey has chosen to ask the Lord for wisdom, direction, healing and counsel, and she has received them all from God both through her daily devotional times as well as in nighttime dreams.

The secrets God has revealed are not just little things. They have concerned her pregnancy and birth of her child. They involved healing of life’s hurts and wise counsel on how to see life from God’s perspective. For example, Jesus told Lacey, “Don’t let Satan confuse you. I am not a God of confusion. He wants you to focus on your struggle. It’s good to be aware of it, but as long as you are close to Me, you don’t have to fall into the struggle.”

I consider such nuggets priceless in effectively living my life. Who wants their life to be consumed with struggle? Christ has already won the victory for us! Lacey provides many such treasures in the two-way journaling that permeates this book.

It takes nerve and grit to choose to walk on the water when the Lord calls you to believe Him for your next miracle. The battle can be intense as the drama unfolds, but the victory is sweet when the miracle arrives. Lacey shares many such stories and they will build your faith and inspire you to draw closer to God as you read this modern-day account of a life lived out of the voice of God.
