When they are coming from me, you can never get enough of them. Picture my hand on your collar, just resting there when you are in tune with Me and then gently tugging on it when you are not. This verse came alive for me one morning as I was having my quiet time with the Lord. It was a part of a devotional that I was reading and when I read those words, I was immediately transported to the day I tried to commit suicide so many years ago. In this vision, I was standing on the edge of a cliff and then I jumped. The next thing that I knew the hand of Jesus reached down and grabbed me by the collar and pulled me back to safety. The words of Jesus to me then were: “I will never leave you, LaWanda, NEVER! And I will not loosen My grip on your life.” I believe Him and know without doubt that this is true. This is TRUTH. He will not allow His faithfulness to fail. He cannot.
