“Lord, what are the desires and dreams You have for my work/ministry? Am I seeing them, pondering them, speaking them, and acting on them as You desire me to?”
Vision:
Jesus and I are walking on sand and there’s little green grass beside us. He has His hands on my back and it seems He is talking to me.
The scenery changes to a beautiful view of a tranquil, blue lake surrounded by rocks and trees. We walk to the cliff. He is pointing and showing me the view. Then we begin to walk downstairs made of the same rocks I saw, and it seems we’re approaching closer to the lake.
We reach the end of the stairs and the scenery changes to a forest, where the sun is shining through the many trees. We continue walking in the forest, then there’s a steep path and I go down it, without falling, but it wasn’t easy. Jesus is behind me. Then, we reached down and there was a bicycle so I took it to ride up another path of steep hill. Jesus is behind me riding a bicycle.
Jesus: Cathy, I want you to know that wherever you go, I am there with you. I have never left you, and never will. Through the highs and lows, the ups and downs. I am there. I was there before you ever took any steps in those paths. I have been leading you your whole life where to go. You are not far from My will. You are not outside of it. You have always been within it. I know the journey, at times, seems hard and challenging, but I want you to take heart that I am there. My presence and Spirit go before you to lead you and equip you. I have a lot in store for you, but as you can see, it is a journey.
There are moments of beauty and tranquility and moments where you “get in the dirt” of where it’s messy, or even a new place where I want you to start planting seeds of something new. It is an adventure with Me. I want you to let go, surrender, trust Me, and enjoy. My presence is before you. I have called you and anointed you to do My work and will here on this earth. There is something special that I have put within you, that the world is waiting and in need of. Be sensitive to My voice and Spirit. Where I rest, I want you to rest. When I move, I want you to pick up and move with Me. The pace that I move in, I want you to be ready for it, whether suddenly or slowly.
Enjoy the journey with Me. Let Me arise the dreams and gifts that I have planted within you. Let Me water it so that it can bloom for My glory and use. Some are already growing, and some are just seeds. Give Me your all, My child, and watch in wonder as I accomplish My will in your life. All this is for My glory. All this is to prepare you for My kingdom’s use. And when it is time, you will stand before Me, in all My beauty and holiness and glory, ready to receive the crown of life.
I see your heart. I see your desire for Me. I will heal you and strengthen you and break off your fears. I want to see you released in freedom and focus on My glory. I am excited, My child, to see you represent My name. To see you partner with My glory. To see you build up My kingdom. For I know you do not want a kingdom of your own, but want My name to be known. I am excited to see you, My child, grow into the powerful woman that I want you to be. Be excited. Be hopeful. Receive; for this is true. Do not let the enemy keep you in sadness and discouragement. I Am the Great One. I Am over your life. I love you.
Cathy: Hallelujah. Lord, I submit my heart, will, and mind to You. I receive Your calling and plans for my life. No matter the cost, I will follow You. I lay down everything on Your throne, and receive all that You have for me. Help me, Lord, and strengthen me. I need You and I love You.
