Kathy Privitera is an online grad student with Christian Leadership University who recently completed our Communion with God course. Below she shares a wonderful testimony on teaching children to hear God's voice.
Supernatural Boot Camp for Kids
My Supernatural Boot Camp for Kids is doing great. The kids are loving it! They journaled today using the 4 Keys. It was life-changing for me to be able to truly give concrete directions on how to hear the voice of God.
L saw Jesus building sandcastles in the sand, and He asked her to join Him. He told her she was His princess.
J “I heard God tell me to move the skate board to the garage. I did. Daddy was backing up in the truck and he went off the curb. He would have ran over my board had I not obeyed God.” J was thrilled.
J and Jesus played hide and go seek in the forest. They hid behind the trees and ran through the forest.
Z slid down rainbows with Jesus. Jesus was laughing and didn’t want to stop playing.
L followed the steps of healing prayer and prayed for her sister’s foot. The pain immediately left.
Z and J prayed for a lady and the pain in her wrist went away.
My kids are so enjoying getting to know Pappa!
Response from a grateful mother
My daughter has had the privilege of being in Kathy's bible boot camp over the past several weeks. To say that she has enjoyed it would be an understatement. She has learned journaling with God, having visions, soaking in His presence, how to hear God's voice and practice using her prayer language.
Her favorite thing was learning how easy it is to pray for people. She usually defaults to her prayer language, but with Kathy's encouragement and teaching she is learning how to hear God's voice and speak that over people also. She has been a sponge soaking in all that was being taught.
As a mom it has been so helpful to be able to use what she has learned in every day life. Just the other day, she was anxious and expressing fear about going back to school. When asked, she was able to quiet herself down and look to see where Jesus was in this situation. As she quickly located Him, peace replaced fear as she sees Him with her at school.
I am eternally grateful for this study and for Kathy's obedience to God in teaching our kids. A beautiful foundation and intimate relationship has begun for our children and I am so excited to see all the fruit God will bring from it!
