I Am the Lord and I Will Be Known - Prophetic Word Through Ian Wilkinson

The journaling below was done by Ian Wilkinson on December 30, 2022 as a year-end word of the Lord. It is a word of power and encouragement for all of our hearts concerning the days ahead!                                            

Then the Lord said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh. For with a strong hand he will let them go, and with a strong hand he will drive them out of his land.” 

2 And God spoke to Moses and said to him: “I am the Lord. 3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name Lord I was not known to them. 4 I have also established My covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, in which they were strangers. 5 And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel (people of faith) whom the Egyptians (world economic leaders) keep in bondage, and I have remembered My covenant. 6 Therefore say to the children of Israel: ‘I am the Lord; I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, I will rescue you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. 7 I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord your God who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. 8 And I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; and I will give it to you as a heritage: I am the Lord.’ ” (Exodus 6:1–8 NKJV)

God has heard our prayers and he is responding. First of all we must be cognizant of the fact that although to us our problems seem huge (we can be a bit self-focused) and the Lord cares about us and our plight; he has bigger concerns. He wants his name to be known throughout the earth. He wants to fill the earth with the knowledge of his glory. He wants people to know him as the Lord, for in so doing they are saved. Once we acknowledge his lordship, his plans fall in place. So our current situation isn’t all about us, it is about Him. He uses the problems and challenges we face to bring us to Him. We are to focus on Him. God certainly wants us to focus on Him - He keeps mentioning his name over and over.

God mentions his name six times in this passage and four times he says, “I am the Lord.” Lord means not only that he is large and in charge, it also means he is present. For lo I am with you always. In the Presence of the Lord there is fulness of joy, and that joy is our strength. We are to fear the Lord and we are to obey the Lord, but we are also to know him intimately as a Father and a friend. We are even to know him as his bride. He takes us as his people. He accepts us. He values us. He is the kind of Lord who loves us so much he sacrifices his own life for us. Each time he says “I am the Lord,” he is saying, “I love you.” We are to enter the New Year with a clear focus on the Lord. Eyes on Jesus. Be still and know. Be quiet and see. The hand of the Lord is going to move. Stand and see the salvation of the Lord.

I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. I will free you from slavery. Many long for things to return to normal. But normal is not good. Normal for many of us is slavery. It is striving to stay afloat. God is going to bring us out of survival / subsistence mode into thriving / abundance mode. Our current taxation loads and national debt have made us no better than slaves and God sees that and will rescue us

I will rescue you from their bondage. The ultra-rich have an agenda to reduce the middle class to a subsistence poverty level. They control governments, industries, economies and media. We are in bondage and God sees it better than we do. He is not bringing a quick fix or a bandaid. He is going to tear down the strongholds of the “Egyptians”. He is going to send plagues upon their economy and their grip on this world. He is going to wipe out their armies - drown them in the Red Sea. Their secret intelligence-gathering and world-influencing agencies dismantled. He will not return us to normal. He will bring us into something new and much better.

I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments. God will buy us back from slavery. There are going to be judgments - great judgments. We are going through a gestation period for what God is going to bring to birth. For nine months God plagued Egypt. Today’s situation is many times worse than Egypt. It is worldwide and corruption is widespread. But it is not too big for God. His outstretched arm will move and we will stand and see the salvation of the Lord. We are going to plunder the Egyptians and there will be the transfer of wealth and we will see redemption at a level higher than we can think or imagine. Fake news will be replaced with truth. Fake money will be replaced with real wealth. Bad medicine will be replaced with vibrant health. We will live longer and will be stronger. Redemption is happening and will continue to happen. God will make a distinction between the righteous and the wicked. Major corporations bankrupted. Offshore holdings raided. Agencies exposed. Corruption uprooted. Wickedness is widespread and the redemption of the Lord will take time and power but the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly. He will redeem and nothing is going to stop him.

I will take you as My people, and I will be your God. Then you shall know that I am the Lord. The Lord is preparing his people to hear from heaven and to do His works. For too long the church has been under the thumb of man and his traditions but God is going to break the bonds and free his church. They will arise and focus their eyes on him. The church will not be contained. They will not be relegated to a Sunday morning club but they will break forth and enter the arenas of commerce, education, science and politics. They will not only influence arts and media they will dominate. They will saturate all areas of life. Christ will be seen in his church. The sons of God will be revealed. We will walk with the Lord and exchange our limited reason for his most excellent revelation, our traditions for his abundant life and our rationalist tendencies for his inspired direction. We will be led and empowered by his Spirit. Christ will be seen in us.

And I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. We will enter the promised land. We will experience the supernatural. We will actually sit in heavenly places in Christ. We will see both a spiritual revival and a natural abundance and a harvest of souls unprecedented. Aslan is on the move. The kingdom will rule and reign. All the nations of the earth will be freed from Satan’s control and come under the control of our Lord.

I will give it to you as a heritage. We will come out of these years of turmoil victorious. We will come out on top. We will walk in the promises. We will live in Eden restored. The earth will be restored. We will see the goodness of God in the land of the living. Jesus will triumph and he will be king of all the earth. And we will be with him, for he is the Lord, Immanuel - God with us.
