I Am All You Need - Journaling Prayer by LaWanda

LaWanda – ♪♪ My Jesus, I love Thee.  I know Thou art mine.  For Thee, all the follies of sin I resign.  My gracious redeemer, my Savior art Thou.  If ever I need Thee, my Savior ‘tis now. ♪♪

O Lord, I need you, how I need you.  Not for any special reason, Lord.  I just need you.  I don’t want anything except your presence, Lord.  O precious Jesus, how I praise you, Lord.  When I hear you speak your words to me regarding Mike, it blesses me beyond measure.  I do not think that he would mind being replaced by you.  Thank you, Jesus, my precious, precious Jesus.  There is truly NONE like you.

I see you, Lord, speaking to a small group.  I am at your feet, Lord, with my head on your thigh.  I am resting so peacefully here, Lord.  I am not even trying to listen, Lord, I am just “being” here in your presence, soaking in the love that fills the atmosphere around you.  Oh, Jesus, precious Jesus, I know Thou art mine and my heart is filled to overflowing.  Thank you, Lord Jesus.  Thank you.

Jesus – LaWanda, my dear one, my beloved one, you have discovered something unbelievably valuable in the months since Mike came home to me.  You have discovered that I really am all you need.  You no longer have a job, and you no longer have a husband.  Either one of these losses by itself could have been devastating and thrown you into a pit of despair, but they did not.  They did not because I took that spirit of depression away from you 13 years ago AND for the past 6 years, you have joined me in the secret place where I have poured myself into you.   Even before these losses, I was filling you up, LaWanda, preparing you.  And I will continue to do so.

O precious one, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor heart imagined the things which I have prepared for you.”  This is a promise for eternity for sure,  but it is also a promise for you here in this life, NOW.  Get this, LaWanda.  My word is true in its entirety.  And you have only discovered a smidgen of its glory.  Depths of purpose and layers of meaning await you, LaWanda, as my presence SATURATES everything I do through you.  “Mighty miracles and your power at work, just to name a few, depths of purpose and layers of meaning saturate everything you do.” Psalm 92:5.

So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth,  (It must be spoken to go forth.)  It shall not (it cannot) return to Me void (unfulfilled) but shall (it must. There can be NO doubt) accomplish (finish/complete) all (all means ALL) I set out for it to do (there can be no doubt here, for I Myself decided what this word would do) and will prosper (succeed, flourish, thrive) in the thing whereto (a destination decided by Me) I sent it.  Isaiah 55:11.

My word has a destination (MY destination) from before the moment it comes out of your mouth, dear one.  Therefore, speak it with confidence in the One who said it in the beginning and has given it to you now in its depths.  Depths of purpose and layers of meaning saturate everything I do, LaWanda.  EVERYTHING.
