George Neitz Life Transformed by God's Voice!

Mark Virkler's picture
I have over 600 journal entries since the winter of 2013! Each has been a blessing. I seem to always move in visions after a verse or word comes to me. I am always awestruck that the vision many times doesn't seem to make sense until I wait and then I hear the voice of the Lord developing what I have seen as a lesson or understanding for me. After 40 years of a Christian walk punctuated by years of frustration and wandering I came across Mark's teachings. What a Godsend!

My health had declined to a point of requiring a heart transplant at the age of 69. Several years before God had given me Ez 36:26. Little did I realize it would completely transform my life and spirit. While I rejoiced in my new life (doctors were amazed how perfectly the transplant fit), I was still somewhat at a loss as to what He wanted to accomplish through me.

A year later I met Mark at a conference in Colorado. His teaching was exactly what I needed at the time. I regained my focus and felt God wanted me to complete a degree in ministry I had begun years before.

I completed my degree with CLU this month, March 2015. It has been the most significant spiritual education and learning experience of my life. I am involved in a solid local church that has great missionary outreach. I will be teaching as well as supporting the pastoral and ministry staff and teams. This summer I am looking forward to beginning a Master's program with CLU. I am now 73 and God is not finished with me yet! Hallelujah!

Mark's mandatory beginning course, "Communion with God" truly gave me a personal relationship with Christ that was always missing. My journaling is almost everyday having now over 600 entries on personal issues as well as scriptural understanding. Everyone is a little different. I ponder on a verse or issue and a vision will form. Many times I scratch my head as to what does this mean? As I wait, Jesus will appear or I will hear Him speaking to me. Here is an entry you may find as a blessing. Praise God.

Prepare Your Heart – Journaling by George Neitz

Scriptures:

  • A generation that did not set its heart aright (Ps. 78:8b)
  • I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. (Rev. 3:1d)

Question: Lord, how do I really prepare my heart so I do not offend You or myself?

Vision received: I see the Lord in an old kitchen with a fire in the hearth. He is preparing a meal. He is cooking it over the fire, watching it and then removing it to the table.

Journaling: My son, see the fire? It is the first element needed in preparing this meal. Food needs to be cooked properly if it is good to be eaten. There is raw food but it is harsh to the pallet so let’s look at what I cooked. I started with the fire. Without it, nothing can occur. In you, it’s the fire of the Holy Spirit. You fan the flames so that it burns brightly by the word(s) of prayer. Prayer begins the preparation of your heart.

Then the food must be selected. What kind of food you select is based on your understanding of the Word. Know I have given it as a living document full of life that needs to be cooked within you over a period of time.

Nothing happens in the kingdom instantaneously but is a measure of what needs to be done at the moment. Maturation of My word within your heart is the absolute requirement. Once the food is cooked then the process of eating it is required to enjoy the meal.

My meal is simple. You eat the food to give you sustenance so that you can speak the word and work the word in your life. This is the final step in preparing your heart.

Know I have called you to speak My word and bring My word to others. Spend time with Me, My son. Be in the kitchen with Me and learn how to make a good meal from My words. I love you.
