Experience Salvation - Be Born of the Spirit

I was 15 years old when I invited Jesus Christ into my life to be my Lord and Savior. It was by far the best decision I ever made and the best day of my life, as a load of guilt and sin was lifted off me and I felt a new freedom in the Spirit. Peace flooded my soul. How about YOU?

The Bible says …

1. “The kingdom of God is at hand; Repent and believe in the gospel" (Mark 1:15).
2. “If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).
3. “To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:11,12).
4. “You will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38) and “If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who indwells you” (Romans 8:11).

With a passionate heart and believing mind I pray aloud…

1. I repent for being the ruler of my life and building my own kingdom.
2. I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead.
3. I receive You, Jesus, as MY personal Lord, King, Commander and Savior.
4. I welcome You, Holy Spirit, into my life to rescue and empower me and restore me to intimacy with my heavenly Father.

I experience the Holy Spirit as I expectedly pray the following…

• “Lord, as I look with the eyes of my heart, show me what is happening.” As you tune to His vision (flowing pictures) you may see a picture of the Holy Spirit swirling around you and entering you. “Lord, thank You for giving me the Holy Spirit. Thank You for Your emotions of peace, joy and love which are sweeping over me.”
• “Lord, I listen with the ears of my heart to what You want to speak to me.” As you tune to His voice (flowing thoughts) you are likely to hear Him saying, “I love you, I forgive you. I welcome you home. Enjoy My abiding presence.”
• “Lord, what guidance do You want to give me?” Tune to His voice, most often sensed as flowing thoughts, and record what He says in a journal and act on it. Do this daily.
• Begin prayerfully meditating on the Bible (Josh. 1:8), beginning with the New Testament (Matthew), and start fellowshipping with other Spirit-filled believers.
