Pastor Eric Okello has founded several churches in Uganda. We gave him free access to all our electronic School of the Spirit courses a couple of years back and he plays them for his church and in the local schools and in mission outreaches. We have given additional support as we can. One of his ministries is casting unclean spirits out of severely demonized individuals, and converting witches to Christianity.
Here are some snippets from emails to me from Eric and his wife Jackie over the last few days…
“Recently a witch was converted. Now that witch is going door-to-door with Eric telling about Jesus…”
“God blessed us with land given by former witch doctor for Church…God of last minute, God of miracles. More than ten people gave testimonies [that they] used to get bad dreams, dreams of dead people, snakes, fighting with cuts, dogs. Some spiritual husband and wife, but God is bringing peace to many here. Thank you so much, Dr. Mark.”
“We were arrested today and we didn't do evangelism work, some leaders were saying we are misleading the community but after meeting area authority said we are doing the good thing and we are free to continue with our mission but religious leaders not happy with our mission in the area.”
“Today he told me about 80 people gathered and they prayed for them under tree and rain disrupted them, too much rain and they have no tent, no transport even when they were leaving. He had planned to be playing your messages using large screen projector but poverty still keeping it down. People responding well but religious leaders not happy with them, people from Muslim also crossing but I'm seeing some Church leaders my fight them directly now.”
“Yesterday at 1:00am, music in the area and we couldn't sleep, there is disco hall about 200 meters away. We prayed for the entire area, I think they play disco on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, they called it weekend outing. After prayers we went to the disco hall, and I spoke with the DJ. I paid an equivalent of $5 to DJ to play three praise song and one worship song. After listening to Dr. Mark teach on “Your Extra Ordinary Life” people started dancing gospel praise songs and ended up in worship. After DJ put your Extra Ordinary Life, noise in the hall, people crying like babies.
“The DJ's stopped playing music immediately we left. It's now 8am, the following day and supposed to be busy night the djs refused to open disco hall now and the owner not happy. I'm happy God is good. We decided not to eat food today we gave what we have to DJ but God used the money for the good of us. This disco hall is closed and we shall rent the same hall for Church service I'm sure God will make away for us to pay.
“Next day - disco hall closed turning into prayers hall…more than 20 joined them in compound prayers today and now they are planting big home church in the area.” Today God gave us a testimony, God closed a busy disco hall, and all the two djs gave their lives to Jesus. And hall put on sale. Eric told me many parents are happy in the area since their children used to move at night
The owner of the Disco now wants to sell the building.
How did you recorded hearing God's voice? I think hearing God's message is the Holy Spirit who recorded. This message is always new to me and 99% of people who listen are convicted even non born again Christians. I gave an elderly woman who gave me a goat, she watched with her daughter and the daughter when and played in her friends home, few minutes ago 4 of them came for prayers and a lady said, God is the one who recorded convicted her, she is catholic, she watch 6 times.
We shall be playing your messages every evening after open air crusades meeting in different places and evening service during healing and deliverence service. I'm also planning to create time were we play on radio some days, I greet listener an play your messages starting this month for 15 minutes then I talk for remaining minutes.
