I received an email today which included the following questions: What are we to think about the Corona Virus, the nation's/world's response to it? The collapse of our economy, the sequestering of peoples. Are we in the tribulation, last days? How does this fit into prophecy? How do I manage the fear I have for the safety of my children, grandchildren, and for our jobs and abilities to buy food and survive? I feel ill equipped to navigate these waters.
Is this a serious situation?
I think so. I am 67 and I am not aware that the U.S. has ever in my lifetime cut off all travel between Europe and the U.S. In addition, Disney World has closed all its parks worldwide as well as its cruise lines. I am not aware that this has ever happened in history. Schools, colleges, sports teams and much more are closing for the time being. And the stock market has lost almost 1/3 of its value in the last couple of weeks. So yes, I do believe this is a serious situation.
What do we think we know at this point in time?
- A person can be contagious for up to 38 days. The virus can live in the atmosphere for several hours and for several days on surfaces. It is passed from one to another through these two means for sure, so washing hands often and less socializing can surely be helpful. The Bible tells us to do these two things!

He shall count off for himself seven days for his cleansing; he shall then wash his clothes and bathe his body in running water and will become clean (Lev. 15:13). Nice to see modern science in full agreement with the wisdom of God. I can’t imagine any reason why I would not honor this wisdom.

- 80% of the people who get the virus will only have mild symptoms and quickly recover. There are no reported deaths of children under the age of 10. It appears that those who are over 60, frail or have respiratory problems or compromised immune systems are most at risk and should exert the most caution. So anything that strengthens your immune system is beneficial to do: Here is a list of 10 things which build the immune system.

- Praying in tongues builds your immune system
- Check up on the elderly and infirm, and provide food and care as necessary.
Self-quarantine
- Focus for the next two weeks on increased quality family time together.
- Ask the Lord what project He would have you work on from your home. I will be re-writing my book Prayers That Heal the Heart, as I know it is time to make it much better and user friendly.

Summary
“For heaven’s sake, celebrate!” is what the Lord spoke to me while in the hospital recovering from a stress-induced heart attack. The Israelites refused to believe that God had given them the Promised Land and spoke instead that they would die in the wilderness. So rather than receiving God’s promised blessing, they received what they were believing for and confessing. Let’s confess that we have the victory in our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus! God will keep us. Trust in the Lord!

Overcoming fear of Covid-19

I asked Jesus how to overcome fear of Covid-19 and this is what He replied:
You're doing it now. Look to Me. That is the way to overthrow fear. If you truly know and believe I am at your right hand, nothing can make you tremble, except of course the Father. It's good to tremble a little before Him.
Why would you let fear of a tiny virus from the pit of hell become a big monster in your imagination? Either you are picturing Me giving you life and abundant health and complete protection, at your side and in your heart, or you are seeing yourself sick and without Me or My help. I am your refuge. Dwell in My peace. Focus on pictures from Me that affirm life and health and love. See my feathers covering you- where no nasty bugs can enter.
I am the giver of life and the protector of life. Where I dwell, life dwells. You dwell in My love by continually drawing your mind back to pictures and flowing loving thoughts bubbling up in your heart. Perfect love depends on My indwelling you, and you indwelling Me.
So this is just a little blip in time that I will turn to the good by causing My body to look to Me and to walk in faith and love and peace as they have never known before. You are My slave, not the slave of fear. Walk in victory by walking hand in hand with Me. This is a time for deepening faith and really believing My words. I am in control. Fear not my child. Conquer all with love.
