Read LUKE 2:8-20
 

“My child, here we are at Christmas Mountain. Now, put on your coat, it is time to put on your winter shoes and coat and walk with Me up the mountain to Christmas Village.  I want you to picture it like a small Charles Dickens Christmas Carol – like village, with shops and a small church and a town square.”

“It is snowing just lightly as we go inside the church.  The Angels of Paradise are ready to party it up.  It is time to play some Christmas music – some funk, some soul, some disco, and have a party.”

“This is the kind of fun and celebration that the Angels were having when they saw the shepherds in the sky that night they told them that Jesus was born. It was the first Christmas party.  The supernatural was there with the natural to celebrate and sing and enjoy the season of the birth of Jesus.”

“So it is with you.  Christmas is not just meant as a reflection; but a celebration, a party to celebrate the time of the birth of Jesus.”

“So I want you to picture the Angels celebrating with you; partying with you with soul, with disco, with some music of songs that are found in Heaven.  Not just the traditional Christmas carols, but classic party music.”

“See the angels rock it out on the stage, jazzing it up; a disco ball rotating on the ceiling with bright, florescent lights, red and green and white.  This is what a party looks like! No drunkenness or wildness, just the joy of a good time.”

“Picture and see the angels getting funky dancing this Christmas.”

“C’mon; why don’t you finish reading this journal, and get up and get yourself a movin’, find some of your favourite Christmas party songs, and just dance, and have some fun, and celebrate and dance and invite the presence of the Holy Spirit to come.”
