Read LUKE 1:1-22 (NEW KING JAMES)

Focus on Luke 1:13-14

“Do not be afraid…for your prayer is heard…and you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice…”

“My Child, I see that you’ve had a stressful time lately.  Remember, this is about relationship. This is about spending time with Me and hearing My heart for you.”

“Come today through the gates of Christmas Mountain, see the angels open the gates for you; and walk to your left onto the path leading to the Father’s house.  Knock on the door, today it is has a Christmas wreath on the door.  I, your Father, open the door.”

“I know that you want to be welcomed into the Father’s house. Your journey has been long, your life has had many hurts and pain along the way, and it is My desire to bring you into My house.”

“Come in, come in, and sit down in the living room, I have a fire ready for you.  I know that you are thristy and hungry, and have prepared a small meal for you. It is a turkey sandwich, with gravy on it.  It is meant as a meal to keep you warm and feed your soul.”

“Let’s pull out the Family Bible today, as music plays in the background quietly.”

“Don’t stop believin’…”

“As we sit down, I give you a large glass of orange milk to drink.  It is a mix of milk with orange juice and sugar, I want you to drink this to give you My joy, for you need milk to drink for your weary bones.”

“Let’s look now at the story.  Let Me turn off the music and sit and read again the Scripture story that we are looking at today.”

(read Luke 1:1-22)

“I want to focus on 1:13-14 “Do not be afraid…for your prayer is heard…you will have joy and gladness..many will rejoice.”

“This is what I want to give to you.  Let Me tell you of the original story.  It was the story of a husband and wife who were past the years of having a child.  However, even though they were past the years of bearing children, he was still praying for a child by any means. That is why the angel Gabriel says to him that his prayers have been heard.”

“You know the rest of the story.  Zacharias hears the prophecy, his mouth is shut, but he acts on the prophecy by being intimate again with his wife, and that she bears the prophet John.”

“What I want to share with you is that this story is about dreams that are long forgotten and feel past the point where they can come true.”

“This story echoes so many stories in the Old Testament, like Hannah when she prayed for a son and had Samuel as a son.”

“This story touches your heart and soul because it is your desire.  I am desiring to remove the fears that have been in your life. This includes the feelings of being lost, forgotten, discarded and hopeless.  I am removing the pain that you have felt at the many, many years that your dreams have not been coming true. This applies to a variety of your dreams and your callings, the deepest wounds and deepest desires of your heart for your future.”

“I have heard your prayers.  I have seen the tears in the night, and the tears in the day.  I know your pain, and I am not simply a passive figure who gives you feel good words without power.  It is My desire that you experience now the healing that comes.”

“Like Zacharias, I want you to only speak the truths of the Father’s will.  Let Me remove and silence the voices of fear and accusations in your heart.”

“When your dreams begin to come true, not only you will celebrate but others will too!”

“So, what does this mean, in the real world, in the natural?”

(He puts down the Bible then puts it back on the shelf.  Then He puts more logs in the fire.)

“It means that you pray, persistently, and in relationship with the Father, you keep praying until you hear My words, speaking truth and prophecy into your heart through the Holy Spirit.  It means that you listen to the words of Jesus, and believe them.  When you hear My words, then you believe them and act on them.”

“Still wondering what all of this means? Well, now that I’ve taken your eyes off yourself and looking downcast, you’re focusing on the Scriptures and on Jesus rather than YOU making all of this happen.”

“So, the next questions for you are – what areas of your life are you still waiting for your dreams to happen? What have I spoke to you about those dreams and desires? Take one dream to start, and ask whether it is now the time to start to walk out this dream.”

“It is now the time to say to believe that your dreams are coming true, so in intimacy with Me (don’t confuse the allegory); you believe that you go ahead and take a step of faith, believing that it is time for the dream to come to pass.”

“Using another imagery, it is like deciding that the season for planting the seed is ready.  You don’t plant seeds in the winter but in the spring. When spring has come, you plant the seeds then water them and believe that a crop will come in due season.  It is time now to plant the seed and watch this dream grow.”

“Come and give Me a big hug.  I want to hold you and take away all the discouragement, all the pain, all the hurt from all the broken dreams, and the feeling of fear and lost hope.  Through your friendship with Me, you will know and have faith that this time, your dream is coming to pass.”

“Now, share with Me. I want to hear your dreams.  Share with Me your dreams, so that I may speak back to you the season for those dreams.”

Journal Entry: Father, here are my dreams during this Christmas season. What do You want to say about those dreams?
