LaWanda – ♪♪ “O how I love Jesus, O how I love Jesus. O how I love Jesus because He first loved me.”♪♪ Sometimes, Lord, I use this chorus to sing myself to sleep. Actually, I’m only singing it in my mind but it is soothing to me, Lord, and soon I am asleep. Thank you Lord, for loving us so and continually drawing us to you.
I see you today, Lord, standing behind me with your hands on my shoulders. I am standing, too, and can feel the warmth of your hands as your love flows into me. It is not like a balloon that gets full and can’t receive any more. No. It is a constant, never-ending flow of your love. You lean forward and breathe on me and I collapse. I fall back into your arms and you gently lay me down. Like being slain in the Spirit but this time it was slain in Jesus. Wow. The effect is the same.
I feel your love still flowing into me but this time as I lay here, it is somehow electrified. My body is tingling and I am not really thinking except that I love you and am enjoying these moments in your presence and these sensations in my body. I don’t know what they mean but I do know that they are pleasant and that they came from you. I am content to lay here at your feet, Lord. Thank you, Jesus, my precious, precious Lord.
Jesus – LaWanda, My dear one, I am glad to see that you can simply rest in these beautiful moments at My feet, just being in My presence. At times like these you have no doubt that what has happened is from Me. You know that I have moved in you and it was literally more than your body could withstand. There will be more of these times, dear one, and you will find that what I have done inside you as you were resting at My feet has propelled you farther and deeper with Me more quickly than you could have ever gotten there any other way.
O LaWanda, My precious one, I long to do this work in you, to move in you. And all you have to do is come ready to receive. That’s it. Be available and expecting to receive and you will, dear one, you WILL!
