LaWanda – O Jesus. I had plenty of time this morning and now it’s gone. Where did it go? I love you, Lord. I thank you lord. I thank you, Lord, for giving me this day.
I see myself at your feet, my head on your thigh…ASLEEP. You are talking, teaching words of life and I just can’t keep my eyes open. I am sleeping here, Lord, at rest and at peace, seemingly oblivious to what you are saying. But I ask you now, Lord, to speak to me now even in my sleep. Holy Spirit, use this time to impart deep wisdom.
Lord, I see you today standing, teaching. Your words so profound, Lord. Holy Spirit sends them like arrows to our hearts. The TRUTH of them is immediately known. It is simply recognized in that moment as TRUTH and KNOWN and it pierces our hearts. We cannot escape it, Lord, and yet, O Jesus, we want more. More of your truth and more of you.
Jesus – LaWanda, my dear one. I have said it many times, what you say or do is not nearly as important to me as the offering of your heart. Your heart is here, LaWanda, and you will be blessed because of it. I love you, LaWanda. Now go and be me in your world today.
