Asleep at Your Feet… Again – Journaling Prayer by LaWanda

LaWanda – O Lord, I love you.  O how I love you, Lord.  I don’t understand why I can’t seem to stay awake this morning.  I got to bed at 9:00 last night and I still can’t keep my eyes open.  I hate this, Lord.  I want my time with you to be productive and I just don’t see how it can be if I can’t stay awake.

I can’t even stay awake to see you this morning, Lord.  What do you have to say to me, Lord?  I need to hear your voice.

Jesus – LaWanda, my dear one, read what I wrote yesterday and read it again and again if you need too.  Your heart is what I am after.  It is what I want, what I require, and what you are giving…simply by being here at my feet.  As you give your heart to me and rest here, eyes open or closed, I will take care of the rest.  Trust my word in this and not how you feel about it.  Remember, there is no condemnation in Me, only love.  So, rest here, my dear one.  You do your part by coming to the secret place, and I surely will do Mine.
